Governor Polis orders flags to half-staff for the 25th anniversary of 9/11

Governor Jared Polis ordered flags in Colorado to fly at half-staff to mark the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The observance honors the 2,977 lives lost and recognizes the first responders who rushed toward danger and the families and communities forever affected by the attacks.

The order applies on Friday, September 11, 2026, from sunrise to sunset. It aligns with the presidential proclamation for Patriot Day and the 25th anniversary of September 11.
