Governor Evers orders flags to half-staff for 9/11 and State Day of Service and Remembranc

Governor Tony Evers orders flags to half-staff on Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, in honor of the victims and responders of the September 11 attacks and Wisconsin’s State Day of Service and Remembrance.

The order applies across Wisconsin and covers state flags and U.S. flags displayed on state buildings and other state-controlled locations. Flags are to be lowered for the full day on Sept. 11 in remembrance of those lost, those who responded, and the day set aside for service and reflection.
