This day honors and remembers the individuals who lost their lives as a result of the terrorist attacks against the United States on September 11, 2001. The United States Flag shall be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset. As a matter of protocol, the Maryland flag is lowered to half-staff. No flag may fly higher than the United States flag. |
