Government Publisher Terms

By activating or using a Government Publisher account, you agree to these Government Publisher Terms, the Government Publisher Privacy Notice, the Mast Terms of Use, and the Mast Privacy Policy. These Government Publisher Terms control if a Government publishing provision conflicts with the general Mast Terms.

If you act for an office or agency, you represent that you are authorized to use Mast for that work and to accept these terms. Your office or agency remains responsible for any approval, procurement, records-management, accessibility, security, or legal review it requires.

Each employee must use their own account. Do not share passwords, passkeys, 2FA codes, sessions, or API credentials. Mast assigns every account to one state, territory, or federal jurisdiction and enforces that assignment for portal and API actions.

Tell Mast promptly if your role, office, authority, employment, jurisdiction, or need for access changes. An account does not transfer automatically when an employee changes roles or leaves government service.

You are responsible for the accuracy of submitted titles, summaries, dates, times, geographic or facility scope, issuing authority, source links, and supporting notes. Do not submit classified, sensitive, personal, confidential, embargoed, or otherwise non-public information.

Mast is an additional public-information channel, not the issuing office's official recordkeeping system. The office or agency must continue to publish and preserve its own authoritative notices and records. Government users should consult their records officer or counsel about public-record, retention, disclosure, and approval requirements.

Mast may review a submission before publication, request changes, correct presentation, decline publication, or remove information that is inaccurate, unauthorized, unsafe, duplicative, or inconsistent with these terms. Direct publishing is a separate privilege, may require 2FA, and may be enabled or revoked per account.

The OFFICIAL seal identifies a record provided through an authenticated Government publishing channel. It does not mean Mast issued the order, independently established its legal validity, or endorses the submitting employee, office, or agency.

Save and submission actions may create attributable revisions. A pending submission may be retracted for editing when the portal permits it. Published orders should be updated or withdrawn promptly when the issuing office changes or rescinds them.

Withdrawal is a soft-delete action. Mast may retain prior revisions, review messages, publication events, and withdrawal records for accountability, security, dispute resolution, and historical context.

Government API credentials are secrets issued for approved uses and scopes. Protect them from public code, browser clients, URLs, screenshots, shared logs, and unauthorized systems. Follow published validation, revision-precondition, idempotency, and rate-limit requirements.

You are responsible for automated activity performed with your credentials. Mast may rate-limit, rotate, revoke, or disable a credential or integration that is insecure, erroneous, abusive, or threatens service reliability.

Use a strong password and required security factors, keep recovery methods current, and report suspected compromise promptly to support@mast.today. Mast may end sessions, require a security reset, or suspend or disable portal, direct-publishing, or API access while investigating an authorization, security, accuracy, or misuse concern.

Suspension does not automatically remove previously published orders. Mast may preserve account and publishing history after access ends.

Mast is independently operated and is not a government service. Advertising, sponsorship, or support messages may appear on Mast pages, including near Government-provided information. Their appearance does not imply endorsement by a publisher, office, agency, jurisdiction, or government and does not determine editorial treatment.

Mast may update these terms as the Government Publisher program changes. Mast may require renewed acceptance before continued portal or API use after a material update.
