Governor Brad Little orders flags to half-staff for Patriot Day

Governor Brad Little orders U.S. flags and State of Idaho flags to half-staff for Patriot Day in remembrance of the attacks of September 11 and the lives lost that day. The observance also honors the heroes who ran toward danger and the unity and patriotism that emerged in the aftermath.

The flags are to remain lowered for the entire day on September 11. The order applies statewide to both U.S. flags and State of Idaho flags.

The directive aligns with Public Law 107-89, which recognizes Patriot Day and the national remembrance of September 11.
