Governor Mike Dunleavy orders Alaska and United States flags to fly at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on September 22, 2026, in honor of former Representative Cheri Davis. The observance applies statewide.
Federal law requests that the U.S. flag be displayed at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. The observance honors the service members and civilians who died in the December 7, 1941 attack and remembers the sacrifice that drew the nation into World War II.
